An Evening of Poetry and Music

Tuesday, September 267:00—9:00 PMProgram Meeting Room

All writers, poets, and musicians, as well as listeners are invited to the Moultonborough Public Library's Fall Series of Poetry and Music evening events.

This month's event will begin with special guest Valerie L. Egar reading from her collection of poetry.

Author Valerie L. Egar’s poetry has been published in numerous magazines and literary journals including River Styx, Poetry Northwest, Barrow Street, Lullwater Review, The Christian Science Monitor, Yankee Magazine and many others. A collection of her poetry, Shadow XX, is currently making the rounds at various publishers.

She has authored a children’s picture book, Oh No! Reindeer Flu! which Publishers’ Weekly praised as “an unexpected twist on a classic Christmas story.” Enthusiastic huskies volunteer to pull Santa’s sleigh and save Christmas when the reindeer fall ill on Christmas Eve.

Ms. Egar studied poetry at The New School in New York City and at workshops around the country. She lives in Maine.

Registration for this event has now closed.
