The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, located in Concord, NH, is dedicated to the two astronauts who came from the granite state—Christa McAuliffe and Alan Shepard. The museum offers a range of permanent and changing exhibits that focus on astronomy, aviation, earth and space science, including full-sized replicas of Mercury 7 and Mercury-Redstone rockets, a 1956 XF8U-3 Crusader jet, and items from Star Trek movies, a planetarium, and an observatory. There is a museum shop and café on the premises.

Pass Benefits
Located in Concord, NH, the Discovery Center is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 10:30am to 4pm from Labor Day through June (hours may expand during school vacation weeks). Open seven days a week, June 19 - Sept. 3.
The pass is valid for general admission to Discovery Center's exhibit galleries and Science Playground (open May-October, weather permitting, from 11am-3:30pm) for up to 4 people. Children under 2 years old are always admitted free. There is an additional charge for Planetarium shows ($7 per ticket).
Library passes cannot be redeemed for member only events but can be used for Super Stellar Fridays or for the Little Learners Program days.
New England Aquarium

The New England Aquarium is home to thousands of aquatic animals, from the giant Pacific octopus to Northern fur seals to little blue penguins. They offer a wide range of exhibits, including a shark and ray touch tank and the Giant Ocean Tank, a four-story coral reef featuring hundreds of Caribbean animals. In addition, they have an IMAX theatre and run whale watch boat excursions in partnership with Boston Harbor Cruises from April through November.

Patrons will receive a dated coupon admitting up to 4 people for a 50% off reduction from the regular admission rate, per person. Coupon only applies to adult ($34) and child ($25) rates. Reduced-rate admission payment must be paid at the Aquarium Box Office to gain entry. Children under the age of 3 are always admitted free.
Library coupons may not be used in conjunction with school or group visits, nor be applied toward Aquarium programs, Simons Theatre tickets, Whale Watch tickets or combination tickets.
