Meet the Artist Series: Kazuko Okubo

Meet the Artist Series: Kazuko OkuboKazuko Okubo, Kazuko came to this country in the 70’s from Japan. She has written 2 books, Japanese Wife and Japanese Mother which weaves the story of her journey. Her Art is greatly influenced by her homeland. She has won awards for her work and brought her creativity to the lakes region through sustenance, literature and art for the last 30 years. She will lead a workshop on eggshell art, which is an art form she learned in Japan, painting eggs shells then breaking them into small pieces to create a mosaic.
