Throwback Thursday Movie - now inside
DUE TO THE WEATHER THIS WILL BE HELD INSIDE. This is our first program and while the weather is still warm enough, we will be showing the movie "drive-in" style. Park in the upper parking lot by the town hall, bring chairs if you want to sit outside your car, and watch a movie on the big screen.
The movie this month is Goldfinger. A special agent 007 classic film with Sean Connery.

Meet the Artist Series: Jaylene Bengtson
Jaylene Bengtson, primarily works in painting, drawing , mixed media and “mask making”. She explores the complex layers of experience through a combination of color, line and symbolism that is both real and surreal. Possessing a doctorate in expressive art, she uses representation and non-objective imagery to convey emotion, inviting the viewer to find a connection with their own personal journey, whatever the path and wherever it takes them. Jaylene will talk about expressive art as a therapeutic experience culminating in a participatory art experience. “Our Many Faces” mask making workshop: pre-formed masks provided by the artist along with prompts and materials for elaboration.
